Internet - March 2007

I have a laptop my business provides. I use it for business and personal use. I will be getting a new laptop this month and my old computer will go to another staff member. The hard drive WILL NOT be reformated due to all the soft ware applications that would need to be re-installed. My question: how can I clear my computer of all historical web data? Sites visited... Login IDs and passwords... so the new owner of the computer can't access my personal sites?

Hi, I previously have used a website that I could look up public information, such as past criminal convictions. I cannot find the web address now. Does anyone know where I can do this? I live in Oklahoma. Thanks!

No functioning is being done on my computer and music just pop up and start making static music noises. Have this happen to anyone else? I have spyware terminator and scans often and it stops and comes right back after a while.This happens every two months like the internet techician is trying to make free money off of you. I only would like to know what is happening with my computer and any information wil be helpful.

First; Every time I type a web site I get a message "The specified module cannot be found."
My history is gone and in my history window there is an icon that say's "History. IE5"

I cannot click onto any of my favorites.

I have an instant message come up, but it is a gray box, empty.

I cannot scan my computer with my norton anti virus program.

I can only search the web if I type everything into the Yahoo search engine, once at a web site that does not have a search tool, I have to abort and start a new window?

HELP??? what just happened to my computer????

I tried system restore, but it would not, perhaps that is because I cleared my history????

When you type a web address in the bar another bar pops up below it and displays what addresses were typed in previously. How do you delete these previous ones that show up????

Preferably one that I can use online and not have to download anything. I found one that is almost perfect but it won't let me put very much information on certain dates so I am limited in how much information I can write about each event.

I don't neet one that has fancy pictures, just a bsic calendar maker that allows me to veiw the html and cut and paste it to my website.
