Do I have to set up a new address?

It means that you cannot use it anymore, you probably did something against the rules that got it deactivated. Contact Yahoo! about it and they will be able to tell you why it was deactivated.

This can happen when it has been innactive for a certain number of days. Yahoo will give you the option to reoppen the account however you will not recieve any e-mail that was sent to the address prior to reoppening it.

Precisely what it says! You may be able to reactivate it by trying to log in tho unless you were banned!

yes you have to keep logging in to your email account at least once a month or it will no longer work

No, you should be able to reactivate it. Just log in and it'll ask if you want to reactivate it.
