I'm also not sure what you mean by the "old fashioned swirly wallpaper"...

Here's a tip on image searching. Forget the major search engines, and use http://www.yotophoto.com - it only has images from high quality sources. Maybe you could find an image there to show people what you mean?

I don't know what 'swirly wallpaper style' you are talking about but I think I know how I can help. The first thing you will need to do is to go to

http://www.yahoo.com

and on the top where it has the search engine select 'images' above it. Then search for the background you want. When you find it click on it to get the largest picture possible. Then right click the picture and save it to your desktop. Rename the image something simple like "background1" Then go to

http://www.geocities.com

sign in with your yahoo account name. Select the create and update tab. Scroll down until you see the 'easy upload' button. Click on it. Then there will be some blank text fields and a 'browse' button. Select the browse button and locate the background you saved. Press the 'upload files' button. You will then see a page that says upload results. Click on the file manager link. When you are there select the picture you uploaded by pressing the view button. Copy the website address. Then go to

http://www.mygen.co.uk

and click on 'profile editor' Then click on the background tab. Paste the address you copied into the "background image URL" spot.

From here you can continue to create your own customize myspace page by editing text, borders, table backgrounds etc.

Hope this helps!
