Depends on the definition of "faster".

The biggest problem with satellite internet is latency. It takes a couple of seconds to "beam" the signal back and forth. Satellite could potentially offer more bandwidth depending on the provider, but it will always be "slower".

no satellite is way slower satellite is about 400kbsp and t3 connection 45mbps so t 3 connection is way faster

When it works, but satelite conections are prone to not work very well about half the time. I have Hughes Net DSL and it sucks most of the time....To expensive for what you get!!!
