Since yesterday afternoon I have been having problems accessing some websites. I can ping them and they answer, but I can't surf over to the site. Some sites I have no problem with, yet others simply won't download. I tried doing a system restore to take me back to 4 days before as i had added a port for a program on Friday, but had no problems. My ISP can't figure it out either, except thinks it possible I have a worm, but I scan clean. I can access on dialup with no problem, its just with the dsl that I have the problem. I do have a router with a network to my laptop.

Hi all!!

I am *hopefully* going to get a wireless internet thing going but i want my son to be able to surf the net (obviously safely) on his computer in his bedroom. My problem is that his computer an my computer are very far away from each other (mine's on the ground floor and his is on the second floor). Will this be detrimental?? Can this be done?? If so, please explain how (but in plain english as i'm a bit thick when it comes to computers!!)

my husband get many junk mails...even i do get...but he gets many junkmails from.dating sites..when i ask him he says ..he doen't know...these sites..sent junk mails to anybody...is he lying ..i doubt him?just wanna .know is he correct....that some sites do send junk mails...

Is anyone currently using it and does it work well? Also, will the download/upload speed of 512/128 kbps be effiecient enough or should I upgrade to a stronger plan? I live rural, but do have dish access now and receive a strong signal. Getting tired of dial-up service and searching for other ways to connect. Thanks.
