yeah its just spam, chances are he didnt visit any dating sites. i get mail about 'asian singles' all the time and ive never been to one of those sites. sometimes if you order something online or sign up for something totally legitimate they sell your information to other sites and you end up getting spammed like crazy. but if you're that worried about what he's doing check the history on your tool bar or install software that will track the websites he views. but it sounds to me to be actual spam, so dont cuss him out until you have proof or catch him in the act.

I have worked for an Internet Provider for 10 years and I have seen this problem over a thousand times. Most likely he didn't visit dating sites and isn't lying to you. If you want to know if he did, then open Internet Explorer and look at the top for a little button which looks like a clock with a green arrow on it. Click that button and you will get a look at the Browser History - a look at the sites which have been previously visited. Though spying and distrust are not good, best to let him know you can see where he has been!

But about the spam, it is most likely just junk. Senders make up e-mail addresses or get them from all over the Internet. Call your Internet company's tech support and ask them how to set up the spam filters so that you get less of this type of message.

This is not an easy question to answer, since he MAY have visited one or more of these sites. However, most likely he hasn't .

I keep getting the same e-mails over and over again from spammers, many saying women want to meet me and I've NEVER EVEN visited a dating website, much less entered my e-mail in one.

Spammers get e-mails from website you post on, like groups for hobbies and so. They also seem to be harvesting people's address books from computers they infect, presumably this also includes companies computers they get into.

I'm sorry, it would be reckless for me to say definitely whether he did or didn't visit one of these site, since no-one can really know for sure. All I can say is that if I found this sort of thing on my Wife's computer, I would not even consider it for a moment, unless there was something else as well that was making me suspicious.

I hope this helps a little? Good luck!

Well, I do get a lot of spams but never got the same spam over and over again. My ex was getting these many spams from relationship.com and I wondered why he was getting these spams from the site. I asked him and he said he has never visited those sites. I checked his history browsing but did not find any evidence... He keeps getting messages such as " You have received an email at relationship.com. Click on the link below to check your message." So I clicked on the link, which took me directly to his inbox where the girl sent him a love poem. The girl mentioned his name in the email, too. The good thing was that I automatically signed into his relationship.com account without having to type a password. Seems like IE stored his password.. Anyway, I checked his account settings and realized he did sign up for relationship.com... When I asked him about it and even showed him proof, he said I was making a big deal out of a minor crap.

He blamed spams as first. Then he blamed me for making a big deal over it... Liars we called them.

Many many sites send unsolicited junk emails. Most likely, he gave his email address somewhere else. This could be for anything, like buying normal products online, or signing up for a newsletter, and then that company sold his emial address to spammers who just send more and more junk. Sometimes you can get them if your email address in someone else's inbox and they were infected with a malicious virus. My work email address, which I use for nothing more than work, gets tons of emails for drugs and investment advice, and sometimes naughty adult things. And I guarantee I've never done anything with my work address that trigger those.

I even get them, and I haven't been on those sites. Most everyone gets a lot of junk mail, so don't accuse him yet. If you are worried and want to see what he's been looking at go to the history and you can see what sites he's been on. To view the history go to the little clock Icon next to favorites (if you have Internet explorer)

Much like regular junk mail, these sites put together lists of addresses and sell them. There are also automatic programs that search the web to get email addresses. It's very likely his address was pulled in one of these ways.

I get all kinds of spam e-mails from types of sites I do not visit (porn, drugs, dating, loans, investment opportunities (LOL) and so forth).

Do not jump to any conclusions. Don't pay any attention to the insecure little girls on here.

Does all this mean that he is NOT on these sites...of course not. It is just the spam does not prove anything.

Maybe and Maybe not, if you really want to find out you can download cain and able, and contact me at codeseeker298@hotmail.com and ill teach you how to find his password to the date site IF HE DOES HAVE ONE since thats what cain and able does, its a password recovery service that lists all passwords created from that computer,

sometimes you can sign up for a service and that company will give your address to other advertisers etc.....

Junk mailers cleverly grab any active email address they can by any means. I am 99.4% certain your husband is telling you the truth. If you continue to badger him about this, I am 99.4% sure he will be very annoyed and think you are paranoid.
