Deleting the history is great when you visit bad websites ;) Just kidding! Go to the start menu, go to settings, go to control panel, then go to Network and Internet Connections, then hit Internet options on the bottom of the screen. A screen will pop up. Hit delete files and check off "delete all offline content too". Then go to clear history and click on it. After you clear it, change the number of days to keep history to 0. If you want to be extra safe, delete the cookies on your computer too by hitting delete cookies.

There is conflicting information. The IE help text is very clear. "To delete a single address from the list of suggestions provided when you're typing a web address, highlight the address, and then press DELETE." I wish I could, but I have never been able to get it to work. I can't find anything on the support site.

Depends on the browser your using. Look for delete browsing history. IE7 is easiest it's in tools and then delete browsing history. IE6 was Tools and then set history to 0. You can;t select a single address to delete you have to do the lot

If you just want to delete one address, click the drop down arrow, put the cursor over the address so it highlights it, and push the DELETE key.
You don't have to delete your entire history just to get rid of one.
