four people share my flat with a 10 meg line but since one moved in and is on chat with china it seems to hog all the bandwidth, its taking me at least 30 seconds to open a web page. i need to limit her speed

My internet explorer had stopped working a few weeks ago, it has not worked since.

I have BT Broadband so that comes with its own browser, so this is what ive been using.

Would it be safe to re-download Internet Explorer 7 again without making my BT browser stop working ? Thanks

Well, last thrusday, I went to myspace perfectly with no problem. But now, yesterday, I can't go on it. It would take 5 minutes to show that the "Page Cannot Be Displayed". Is there something wrong with myspace or my internet? I need answers!!!

I cannot understand the basic concept behind seeders & leechers.
Is it like this that more number of seeders the better the download will be. OR Is it like that percentage of seeders & leechers affect the download. Suppose

1.If there are 15 seeders and 15 leechers
2.If there are 75 seeders and 96 leechers

Which download will be better????
will the no. of leecher affect the download?
OR
Only the no. of seeders should be taken into consideration?

I have got an Airtel Landline Broadband Connection.I get monthly usage of 200 Mb and i want to limit that coz i m consuming 600 mb month.I don't want yo chng my plan.Is there any software to limit the usage or to fool airtel buddies so that i can use internet to 500 mb and get bill of 200 mb. Everytime i go to myspace it won't let my on the homepage or log in, or view profiles. It is beggining to annoy me. It isn't viruses, old files, coolies, spyware, etc, cuz i just wiped my computer last nite. manually. I get into all other websites fine. It is only myspace.

I just posted a question about how my browser is acting up and many of you guys are telling me that I should try another browser. But how do I do that when my browser is in "not responding" mode? And tell you what? I'd encountered the same problem with my desktop where I HAD installed Firefox!! but I had two systems installed there so when my browser in one started acting up I switched to the other one!

This time I really don't know what should I do :-s Do I have to format my hard drive and install everything all over again?
