My laptop was doing fine but since yesterday everytime when I log on to the internet and launch my IE it gets stuck and I see "not responding" at the top of it. What should I do?

Download and install Mozilla Firefox. It's a better, faster browser (and it will import your bookmarks and saved forms from IE too!)

Forget about IE... There are so many things that stop it from working...

It depends on what's going on with your computer...

If you run the usual programs to maintain it (anti-virus, anti-spyware, firewall, defrag from time to time, clear out old programs and files you don't use, etc) it's just your computer being cranky.

It happens.

If you don't do the usual maintenance - start doing it asap!

By the way... is your IE the new version (IE7)? Because I've seen so many people having problems with it on here, it's almost a theme at times.

I, too, recommend Firefox, but it's not for everyone ... try Opera as well... You can have all three (or more!) on your computer with no complications.

Why not give Mozilla Firefox a test drive.

Try a different browser. Avant has many more features than I/E.
