I would say just carry on using the BT broadband as this is probaly what you are paying for. It does the same thing at the end of the day so whats the difference?....

it would be best to remove Windows Internet Explorer 7 from the add / remove panel
This will downgrade to Microsoft Internet Explorer 6
then Download / Install Windows Internet Explorer 7

Whenever I have internet issues now, I always phone my ISP and let them talk me through repairing it. I am fed up with trying to sort it out myself only to make matters worse !! LOL !!

Yes reinstall IE7 and open it it will ask if you want it to be your default if so select yes and all should be well
