So, there is an awful lot of money being exchanged by a lot of different people inside all this "free" stuff going on within the internet !!!

All those ads? They make money from them...
They also make money from the newsletters, and other "services" they offer...
Some offer the free service to get people into the paid ones...
It's pure money - as a corporation, their one and only goal is to make profit. The rest is white washing and fairy tales.
