hey...so my school blocked everything. i dont use the computer until after my classes since i only have 5 i stay till the end because i dont have a ride home. i want to get on abc.com but it wont let me. they blocked everything even proxy sites is there any other way i cant get on the site...

I have tried deleting it, renaming it, everything, but it keeps on coming back. If I wanted a folder called links, I would create my own. But I don't. The whole point of the "favourites" section is to bookmark all the links that you want to keep and use again.

Can somebody please help? How do I get rid of it permanently?

my connection slows down alot, i never realised i dont have my wifi connection passworded.

im not that bothered, but id like to figure out whos accessing my connection, perhaps i can see what sites they are viewing or their user name etc

I had slow internet and changed from IE 7 to Mozilla Firefox,but Mozilla took a while to display pictures. I've gone back to IE7 now but i'm having the same problem again. It's slow & doesn't always load the page.I have 2 anti spyware programs,anti virus & firewall,so what else could it be?? Thank you!

i use a 115kbps dial up connection.i tried out both internet explorer as well as mozilla firefox, even then it did not work out..................
i can connect 2 all sites like yahoo,funtoosh,songs,etc but not the above mentioned sites..................
so please help.

Ok, I'm html-illiterate! Yup, I admit it.
But I've got this silly myspace page and I want to send some cool custom comments to friends but have no clue how to go about doing so without all those cruddy tags from the "free" generators.
How do I create my own custome comment graphics/images without those tags?

I have an e-mail assignment where I have to quote --> "Construct an email reply to any classmate as a response to a forum post." and also "Include a graphic in the body of the email using Copy and Paste functions in Word (Insert/Picture/ClipArt)."

That second part makes absolutely no sense to me; what does microsoft word have to do with copying and pasting an image into an email?!

My experience is that the sylabus for these courses is poorly written, and I seriously have to wonder if this makes any sense. I did all my reading this week, and *nothing in the reading has to do with MS word. There's a good chance my teacher is out for the weekend.
