There is a little banner that reveals that I have a profile tracker on my profile when someone looks at it. I would like this to be a private matter, so I was wondering if anyone knew a way to hide the image. I am not very good at html, just barely learning, so I can't figure it out on my own. Thanks!

Can you list some things that you commonly purchase off the web?

To give you some ideas:
High-tech items (mp3s?), handbags, clothing (what kinds? does designer brand matter to you or are you fine with something that looks good and costs less?), etc.

Also, do you prefer to purchase off of Ebay or from a website owned only by the seller? (Or does it matter?)

i would like to know if in australia to get broadband (better if adsl2) you have to pay also telephone line or you just need to activate it and not pay the monthly fees. In italy we do not have to pay the monthly fees if we just want adsl.

A second-hand video camera was described on Ebay as "full kit" but when it arrived after purchase, there was no manual. The camera was also found to have a focussing defect which wasn't stated by the seller. The seller on being contacted refused to accept any liability. Ebay and Paypal have been useless in resolving this issue. This must be a common problem for people who buy items through Ebay. What is the best way to deal with it and what are my consumer rights in this instance?
