how do you find out if someone else opened an account under yor name on the internet?

i was wondering how you would find out if somebody else is using your identity on the web

Go to www.freecreditreport.com

It will give you a list of all the accounts listed by the credit bureaus. I do this at least 3 times a year just to make sure. they also have fraud alerts that will notify you... but there is a cost.

The best way to do this is search your favorite search engine (or all of them) with your name or your regular screen name.
