Can you list some things that you commonly purchase off the web?
To give you some ideas:
High-tech items (mp3s?), handbags, clothing (what kinds? does designer brand matter to you or are you fine with something that looks good and costs less?), etc.
Also, do you prefer to purchase off of Ebay or from a website owned only by the seller? (Or does it matter?)

I pretty much only buy from an online store when I can't find the item in a brick-and-mortar store for a reasonable price. This applies especially to computer equipment. Brick-and-mortar stores always jack up the prices to far more than what the products are worth because the average consumer who walks into a Best Buy has no idea what they're doing.
I prefer meatspace stores because you have the opportunity to examine the item and compare it to similar items, and when you decide to buy, it's right there for you to have immediately.
Some esoteric items can only be found on a site like Ebay, because walk-in stores that sell weird stuff (like army and science surplus stores) are disappearing.

Everything and it doesn't matter.
Recent purchases include everything from socks and cigars to a laser printer. I purchase from manufacturers sites, resellers, and eBay in about equal amounts. I'm looking for features, not designers, although I will look at user experience when selecting brands. Looks good and costs less is my middle name.
The only thing I don't like to purchase on the web is books. I prefer to browse and there are too many titles on Amazon to browse through.

I prefer to do a ton of research online and actually buy the product in the store. But to answer your question, I buy alot of meats - omaha steaks for example, or honeybaked ham is another - and stuff on eBay.

i dont purchase anything off of the internet because the website im ordering the merchandise from is usually not legit or have 17 complaints complained about their buisness

ebay and I mostly buy books or Prada purse. My husband get car parts from ebay. Sometimes a dvd or xbox game.
