i just uninstall the new internet explorer 7 just last night. i didnt like it really much. after uninstalling, i restarted my computer but the ie7 is still there. i was getting tired of using it so then i downloaded firefox. it worked really well for me. after an hour or so i turned off the computer and then turned it back on. when the welcome thing came on, it had this pop up that said something like it couldnt find iexplore.exe and try re-installing or something like that. the starting up the commputer went fine but my screen is blank right now. i doesnt show my folders or my computer and etc ... it just show my desktop screen. ugh. i really need help. sorry if this is so long. but pretty please help?

I have always had my homepage set to yahoo, and all of the sudden today it keeps changing it to be google. I've switched it back a dozen times and it keeps changing on its own. Plus, when I click on one of my saved url links it sends me to a completely different site than what I'm wanting. Is this a virus causing this? How do I get it to stop?

I couldn't open attachments that end in "pps" in my Outlook Express mail.
Here's what I did so I could open them from my mail instead of transferring them to my hard drive, and then open them.

(1) I downloaded PowerPoint Viewer 2003
(2) I went to this site and followed instructions. The automantic fix didn't work for me but the manual fix did.
