Can't open pps attachments from Outlook Express?

Question

I couldn't open attachments that end in "pps" in my Outlook Express mail.
Here's what I did so I could open them from my mail instead of transferring them to my hard drive, and then open them.

(1) I downloaded PowerPoint Viewer 2003
(2) I went to this site and followed instructions. The automantic fix didn't work for me but the manual fix did.

go to the options in outlook express and in the security part, check if you set PPS to the blocked extensions list. If so, remove it from there and you will get it working ;)
