Internet - November 2006

I was trying to get onto myspace here at work.....before lunch I was able to use myspace. But now I can't. What is going on? Could someone tell me how to fix it????? Thanks.

My company is thinking to switch to a new phone provider that uses VOIP technology. It's voice + data so conversations, they claim, are very clear. Does anybody have any knowledge of this?
It's similar to Vonage, but I gues it's more high quality?

I placed an advert on gumtree.co.uk which was for a cooker for sale. A man emailed me about it for more info and then said he would like to buy it. He said he will trust me by sending me a cheque for £3000 and i have to deduct £200 for the cooker to myself and forward the rest on to his lawyer who will then arrange pickup of the cooker as well as other items he has bought with the remainder of the money. He has asked for my name and address to send the cheque to. Do you think he is up to something? it sound a little iffy to me.

I have a a 2 and a half year old, and i want one a little bit before shes 4 year years old. Not when shes older than 4. But i was wondering how does the 1st child sleep when u have a baby. Will she wake up alot during the night if the baby wakes up?? And is it easy to feed both at the same time, and will it be easier to keep the 1st one her bed time scedual???I know ,bad spelling.

I have reported one of their precious "power sellers" not only for misleading advertising on their auction but a method of auction posting that is actually doing Ebay out of money and is forbidden according to their selling rules. The seller advertises goods for 49p and displays £1.49 in the postage section at the top section of the advert when people buy and pay they are then sent an email asking for a postage and packing fee! Apparently the £1.49 was for collection! I reported this on Friday. It's now the following Wednesday and all EBAY are doing is faffing about send me emails to "validate my email stream"! They are a disgrace and they are just fobbing me off. It seems Power sellers can get away with it? See what you think?
