I've seen on peoples bebo and myspace people have as there name things like "Emz 2k6" and people add 2k6.....what does this mean???

2K = 2000

K = Thousand - 1000Kilos I remember it.
6 = Six

"Emz 2k6" = Emz 2006 basically.

It's the year - 2006. Thje letter K is commonly used to denote 1000 so 2K is 2000 with a 6 added = 2006

Similar to the Y2K thing for the Year 2000

If you are talking about in online games like everquest or world of warcraft, it can be a little different. For example on everquest, you see a tunic you would like and ask how much, if the person says "2k5" they mean 2,500 platinum is the price they are asking
