Ok, What exactly does "ghosted" mean...?

I seen in some pool rooms that peeps are saying..."my id was ghosted" by Yahoo. Also, some id's are being "deactivated". What's it all mean!

Ghosted more commonly refers to a way of backing up information from one computer to the next. It is considered an exact copy.
