i have Compaq C563TU laptop and want to connect it to my TV so that I could use the TV as a display unit (monitor). The laptop has a 7 pin S-Video port so i bought a 7 pin S-Video converter and plugged it to the port.. But when I connected the video (RCA) jack to the TV and the other end to the converter and switched the TV to Video input there was no display!! sad.gif
What do I do? Did I miss anything??

Hi, I already had one SATA hard drive in my PC and I needed to install another. So I bought an OEM SATA HD, attached the SATA cable to the motherboard, attached the power cable as well, booted my computer up but it's only reading my original HD when I go into My Computer. My new HD isn't showing up at all. Have I missed anything out? I don't need to do anything with jumper settings on a SATA drive do I?

I have the laptop, the wireless router, and an adapter so I can use their electrical sockets

My MAJOR problem is when I play games I get thrown off the game back to the icon page. My comp also stops while I'm typing and I have to start from where it stopped at.(it's stopped twice so far) I know I need a new video card but have no idea what to get. My comp is a dell approx 2yrs old and the current card is:intel(r) 82845g/gl/ge/pe/gv graphics controller. I can spend up to a couple C's but (of course) want to spend as little as possible. I have Windows XP Pro and access the internet through a school WiFi network. I just need it so my roommate can print to it while my computer is connected to the printer and turned on. The PCs won't ever be farther than like 10 ft apart? I tried setting up sharing, but I didn't know what to put in as the server and his PC couldn't find it on the network. PrinterAnywhere won't work on our network's firewall. Is it possible to use bluetooth (printer isn't directly Bluetooth capable but the computers are).

I play 2 RPG's. Yesterday they changed servers, and now I can't get into the sites. I've deleted all of my cookies etc. When I type the URLs in, I get sent to Google. When I click the link in Google, I get the "page not found" error.
