I use TextAloud from Nextup.com

There's a freebie out there called baba*something* but I can't find it in Google right now.

not really sure if there are any plugins for that, but you can create PDF out of the word document (you need Adobe Acrobat Professional or PDF creator), Acrobat has a voice file reader

Start ~ All Programs ~ Accessories ~ Accessibility ~ Narrator.
Then just open your 'Word' file and let the computer do the talking !
