So, I've installed used my Windows CD cause my Pc started to bug too often.. (viruses....). I downloaded a trial version af an antivirus, installed it, (install wizard seems to work normally). But when it comes to executing the antivirus software.. the computer simply won't react!
ANd i've tried several times with two different antivirus, nothing doing! I also checked that the setup file I downloaded is ok..
Any ideas? Do you think it's a malicious software that is blocking the ativiruses? What should I do?

I am so fed up with Ebay, (and i know im not the only one) but, i must admit, it was good for getting items i wanted or liked. But, i am now looking to shop somewhere else for my bargains etc. Can anyone out there recommend a good UK auction site? Has anybody else refused to shop on ebay? Where do all the anti-ebayers shop? I hope i get a good response, and find somewhere else.

I'm stuck working so I have time to kill. Here goes:

There were three babies in a woman's womb, and they were discussing what they would like to be when birthed and grown up. The first one said, "I wanna be a plumber." I have recently switched to Firefox as I was told it was more stable and secure than explorer. But I am finding that the server on Firefox constantly 'times out' and pages are much slower than with Explorer. Are there any advantages to staying with Firefox or should i just go back to Explorer? Help!

OK, I've been working with computers since the late seventies, which as well as showing my age, still begs a question.
One of my current keyboards has things like "Favorites" on it,
fair enough, but after all this I still do not see the point of the "SysRq" or as it used to be, in the same place, the "SysChk" key.
In BIOS, DOS, various platforms, it seems not to do a damn thing.

Surely there is a reason for it.
What is it for I ask ?
If I need a system check, I just crank up a bit of software.
The button seems to be useless.
I must be missing something here ..........

I am in need of a computer,monitor,keyboard,mouse,and speakers to finish my online transcription course. My cd rom drive no longer works and I need that to open my lessons using the lesson's cd. I took the course to get a better paying job,scraped to pay for my schooling and now this happens. There isn't enough money to purchase a computer,as my husband is on a fixed income. He is on hospice with a terminal illness. I work part time outside the home,and a part time income isn't enough to buy a new computer,not even a used one. I have always worked two jobs most of my life,but now I am my husbands caregiver and can only work part time. Does anyone know where I can get a free computer? Are there any organizations that give out free computers for those in need? Thanks for your help~

i mean where do u send ur products when someone buys it? is there a gaurantee thet u get ur money? how do u knw if they got it? how does paypal work? is paypal for just ebay? can u put a reserve price like u can in auction? how long can u have ur product on there for? thanx
