Selling on ebay is easy, but alot of work.
1.~ Of course you send the product if someone pays for it.
2.~ Most buyers pay for their item's,if they don't pay you just relist the item.
3.~ No paypal is not just for ebay, you can use paypal on your website, you can receive and send money to anyone you want. It's not just for e-commerce buisness. It can be used to send money to a friend, family member etc.
4. ~It's very costly to put a reserve on an item, and reserve prices are used in the auction selling format only, not in stores.
5.~ You can have your item up forever in a store,it's relisted every 30 days, until you end it. Maximum time for an auction is 10 days, then you have to relist it if it doesn't sell.
6.~ Best thing to do is to get to know ebay by going to their communities, and ask questions there. Or join a group for sellers on yahoo or msn groups. Network with other people who sell online.
7.~ If you have alot of stuff to sell, you can always hire a sellers assistant from ebay. Go to the seller assistant community and find one in your area.

Hope that helps.

They have gotten worse over the last few years, the costs to list are too high, and with the increases in postage, its not really worth listing things. I jusy had a lot listed, then when I worked out the listing fees, the postage, it was ending up that I was giving the stuff away for free....not business is it?...There doesnt seem the be the quality of goods listed either, full of lots of people running it as a business rather than the little people trying to recycle their own things

There are plenty of tutorials on there to look at. Also have a good trawl and see what's for sale and how others advertise and set prices for items, postage etc.....but quit frankly it doesn't work...ebay can take a running jump...they have got too big for their boots and like to accuse people of things they haven't done and steal your money via the international organisation of paypal....I'm not alone.

Read the self explanatory instructions they have. Why are people so lazy, that they don't even bother to read things and then come and ask silly questions...
