HP decktop CDrewritable wouldn't work. Put in a 9100. Decided to wipe the hard drive so grandkids could use it for school. Once wiped with the recovery disks it won't bring up the 9100 to put everything back in. Says CDR101 can't read drive M. Can anyone help me?

I am working on a PHP-HTML-JavaScript combination web software similar to Googlefight (only mine won't use Flash, and will search Google, Yahoo, Excite, Ask.com, and many other engines).

When I use the JavaScript to change the HEIGHT attribute of the style of two text input elements on the page (to make one larger than the other based on the result numbers), the inputs automatically align to the top, so that the taller one seems to "hang down" instead of "point up", if you know what I mean.

Is there any way to make the inputs align to the bottom of, say, a DIV, so the taller one is HIGHER than the other, and not LOWER (as it is now)?

I am new to using torrents. I tried to download a movie and it shows that it is 100% downloaded but still has many hours left of seeding. What does that mean?

Its diamond back Razer/ lazer optical one.
It like shuts off and then I have to replug to use it again.

I found an old Fujitsu LifeBook (e300 series) in my basement and I want to try it out. I don't know how old it is, but it came with Windows 98 installed. I would like it to be a bit more current, but I know just about nothing about computers and I'm a bit confused.

I checked in Control Panel>System and it told me that it has 32-bit something-or-other. That meant nothing to me, so I looked again and it said "64 MB RAM". I right-clicked the C Drive to see how much space was on it, and it told me it had a 1.99 GB capacity, 22% percent of which was taken up by Win98.

So which is the one I should be paying attention to? And more importantly, will it run WinXP?

I have Norton anti virus and I keep getting pop ups from Yahoo IM just like the first time I downloaded it. I tried going to manage programs and delete it, but everytime I click on that another Yahoo IM thing pops up wanting me to down load and Norton asks if I want to block it or accept it. I've tried both blocking it totally and accepting and I can't seem to get it to stop. It just wants to re-install its self over the top of the old one everytime. How can I go around this? I want to delete it all together and re-instal just ONE!!!

I'm looking for a Java, Java Script, or anything else for my webpage where I can place a lot of pictures in it. If a viewer does a mouse over or clicks on it will have a pop up window or the picture will enlarge. If the person clicks on the picture it will take them to a particular page. Anyone know which program does something like this?

I was giving a older computer from my work it has win xp pro on it the problem I have is that I can not get the adminiatrator rights for it I have no xp pro cd but i can get it to log onto as a different user what I want to do is gain back admin rights but I dont know how or where to look right now its not connceted to the net overall I dont know the password to get admin nore does anyone else please help !!
