There are other ways, but people will tell you what " they " do,
but they wont say what operating system, what computer, what FONT, what browser, etc. so what they do may not work.
Maybe someone will tell you clearly what do in english, with the
details ( for a change ) instead of stuff like " press ;>@ " etc.
which only works on their own computer.
When I cut and paste the entire symbol character set, including the four playing card symbols with the heart, I get this garbage instead, but if I cut and paste some elses heart off the web, I
get a heart.. hope someone who really knows, posts the correct way to generate a heart on any computer, since I cant.
NOTE :
see what I mean - all the answers above do not work,
and not one person said what OS/browser/Font/computer they were using. I tried them all ( unless you take the guy who said "thats just a symbol " as though stating the obvious was of any help at all ! With answerers like that, why bother....)

I've seen that when many sites review other sites, they take a screenshot of the website home page they are talking about and post within their content. Here are a two exmaples:

I would like to write a review of a few websites and with each take a screenshot, resize smaller and post within my reviews.

Can I post screenshots resized or do I need to ask every site for permission?

I'll be more clear. I do not want to use the standard img src to link to the image file. I want to embed the image file as data in the HTML so that no external files must be used.

And how do I stop it? The site I have to access is for work and the system will only allow IE users. Is there a way to disable this, it's annoying as heck!

someone has moved the taskbar on my desktop (windows xp), they have moved it to the top of the screen, how do i move it back to the bottom, as it is really bugging me?

Can you set up a basic home network between a Windows XP Home Edition and a Windows Mellenium using an Internet Router (supplied by Verizon DSL). I mean, both computers DO share an Internet connection, but I'm having trouble putting them on the same netowork (the XP computer is used as the main computer).

Also, is networking secure and safe, or is there a chance that outsiders can come and view the Shared Files or whatnot?

We have 3 computers two have wireless cards and one doesn't everythime the wired one is on no others can get on we have a linksys wireless-g 2.4Ghz router as for the computers the wired one is a gateway 830Gm one of the wireless ones is a toshiba laptop and the last one is a windows 98 computer witha minksys card.....
