i can enter via keyboard in command prompt but not in any executable files.
simmilar problem in all dos programmes.please help.what to do ?

I live in Korea and bought my computer out here, so the keyboard also has Korean characters on it. However, I can't seem to type in Korean - it just shows abstract symbols instead :??*> for example!

I was just wondering if it was possible to share files between the 2 computers, a laptop and desktop, just through the same internet connection. I have a DSL connection with a Linksys wireless router. The DSL modem is connected directly to the desktop, and the laptop is running off of the wireless router and I was wondering if I could share files between the two. Will I need to set up a local network, or will it be easier than that? Thanks.

After the mouse which came with my computer stop working my son gave me a Labtec mouse but he did not give me a CD with it. It is very erratic the pointer jumps all over the screen. It is annoying to work with such a mouse, it never goes where you want it to.

I want to buy a laptop for college and I'm not sure what I should do. Is it worth spending the extra money and getting a good laptop costing approx. $2000 that it could last the whole 4 years? Or do you think I should I save my money and get a cheap one for < $1000 so that I can replace it sooner with new technology.
