hey.
everytime i 'uninstall' an application in OS X 10.4, i just drag the application from the app's folder in the finder to the trash.

but when i do a spotlight search for the application i just deleted, it shows up with folders related to the application i just uninstalled.

how do you 'officially' uninstall any application (including 3rd party) in Mac OS X 10.4

I Work with visual basic 6 and try to show menu after click it. so you know after click menu or childs, it dissappear soon, but i never dissapear it

my problem began when i ran an update on my avg anti virus. it has apparently detected a trojan horse? wininet.dll file that has been infected. i have tried to heal the file but to no avail. i also downloaded the wininet.dll and still.....so i m trying to do a system restore..when i do it on restore at an earlier time it tells me that i have no restore points available..so if i choose the option on restoring in at some point, what do i type in? and when i try to open system restore it tells me my wininet application failed???i am slightly lost here...

I'm using software that doesn't allow me to change the default settings, and it doesn't appear that I can put some of the data on one DVD and some of it on another. It's all or nothing, and truthfully, I would really like to just copy the entire disc onto one DVD. Are there DVD-R's out there that are larger than 4.7 Gigs? If so, what are they called and where would I find them?

I have 2 tables.
Table 1 has 2 columns: From and to having some interger values
Table 2 has a column having interger values, which may or may not lie between range specified from "To" value to "From" value.

I have to make a query, to count the number of entries in table 2 which lie in the range decided by "To" - "From"

whenever i right click on something as if i was going to "save target as" the window will pop up but before i can move my mouse it goes away.
