whats A network connection can any body help?

ive got a psp and everything you need to hook it up right and with this soft wear it ask for my servers info were can i find that im not sure what it is . so i skipped that and went on and tryed to connect my psp thru my network it told me to put in but when i was testing it it said connection timed out what does that mean im trying to hook it up using wifi if you cant help can you refer me to some site that can

If you need the WEP or WPA code you need to go into your Routers configuration/set up and get that code. How to get to the configuration depends on the router you have.
