Although it may sound crazy but, may I ask where can I download computer viruses from the internet. I mean, the virus it self. The file that must be executed for infection to occur.

Probably the easiest method other than searching the Internet for them, is to let them come to you. Ideally use a clean computer with no anti-virus or any updates and just hook it up to Internet. Some of the stuff will automatically sniff you out the rest I'm sure you can find by snooping around porn sites and stuff of that nature. Have fun and I'm sure you be impressed!

It is easy.
There are special code, that is not real virus. But all anti-virus developers consider to use it for test. If you will create the file with this content it will be reported as a test virus file by ANY existing antiviral software.
Open Notepad and copy this text in it:
X5O!P%@AP[4\PZX54(P^)7CC)7}$EICAR-STANDARD-ANTIVIRUS-TEST-FILE!$H+H*
then save this file with the .com or .exe extension. It is safe file, it will not do any action if you will run it, but your anti-virus program must detect it as a virus.

Most viruses are programmed or created and then uploaded with another file or e-mail.
Find someone who could show you how to program a virus or something.
Why would you want a virus, anyway?

You can go to McAfee's website. They have a file that you can download that will test to see if your virus protection software is working. Not a virus itself, but good to test with...

If you seriously want to mess things up, then I can't tell you where to find. But these 2 hurt me bad. Intcodec6 and spyware quake 2. Look for these files and screw yourself good.
