I have a pavillion a350n desktop pc. My cable modem went down after a severe storm. Now I replaced it but I can get no connection from internet. Then I noticed my lan connection disappeared. Can'tseem to get it going. Don't know if it is bad or lost driver but lights up on back of my PC. Do I need to replace my ethernet or is it just drivers. Tried the drivers but keep getting error messages

I guess the program allows you to transfer all the games that someone has to another computer. It sounds fishy to me, can't they get your personal info on your computer?

Looking for help about how to learn to use an old Mac computer effectively. This would mean I am depending on the "kindness of strangers" in my city. I am trying to download Microsoft office(60 day free trial). My computer is telling me it is going to take 30 hours. Is there any way to make it go faster(other than getting better internet...we live in the boonies, and People PC is about as good as it gets out here!)

I have LimeWire basic and its works fine, until I play a song. Then It will play about 3 secs of a song then it mutes itself, but continues to play the song. I have to stop the song and restart it to get it to play. What is going on?

If the power is gone in a residential or commercial block, does that also mean there is no internet traffic moving through that area? i.e.: Let's assume the power is gone for a city in California. Will AT&T's network still be routing 1's and 0's through their routers in that city? I assume ATT would have backup power stations through their network.
