when i put the plug back in, and for some reason, my monitor wont work, it worked yesterday, but now i cant see whats wrong with my computer. can someone help me, or does someone know whats wrong? or what im doing wrong lol?

i hooked up everything right, and my monitor light stays yellow, usually it connects and turns green..and my computer, i tried to see if there was a restart button or something, couldnt find one but, i held the power button for 5 seconds, it did shut off, but i dont think it does anything....what can i do?

no i cant fix it lol...i tried connecting everything securely, but the monitor wont see the computer or vice versa so...my aunt just wants to buy a new computer, but i dont wana just throw this one out ya know...i believe it can be fixed so....i duno lol

Did you do the fan fixing? if so, sounds to me when you were inside fixing, the video card unseated itself. unplug everything again, {make sure you have no power going into the case} make sure your addon cards (video,sound,network,etc.) are all seated into their slots. Becareful of the small screws, they are easy to drop. I ran into the same thing and chances are the video card moved a tiny bit- just enough to not run. Also when you plug your power cord back in on the back of your computer, some power supplies have an inline switch; make sure it is in the on position

Hey I too had the same problem. The problem is with the computer switch button. I have done all sorts of things scanned for viruses, check the motherboard and ram everything was fine and finally a tech guy changed my cabinet and now it is working fine.....try this BOL

Check the power options and then get a new video card installed in your computer.
