I'm not able to access any downloads for Yahoo Messenger. I've been trying for days to upgrade, and the newest versions of Messenger (8.0 and 7.5) do not work on my computer. After deleting Yahoo Messenger, now I'm not able to even get to a page to download 7.0 or another older version. I'm getting that old standby message, "Not able to access the webpage" or something similar. Can anybody help me? Maybe give me a link to another website that has Yahoo Messenger downloads available? Thanks!

ok so all of a sudden it wouldn't let me sign in..altough all of my information was correct. so i uninstalled it, and reinstalled it, and the same problem occured. everything else on my computer works fine, and i have never had this problem before. can you help me?

Last night the power went out, and today my monitor keeps flashing Auto Adjust in Progress. I've tried about everything I can think of; pressed the auto adjust on the screen itself, rebooted, updated my drivers. The last time this happened I found a file in my global start up that seemed to be causing the problem, and got rid of it and the message stopped, but that file isn't there anymore (it came from my isp's installation disc--i was trying to fix a different problem with it), and I'm not sure what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

well i wanna get all of norton prodects like internet security 2006, system works premier 2006 and norton ghost 10.0, but i been seeing rating from other people that norton products make computer slow and this and that, etc. i am geting a new computer and i really want it protected, i was wondering if norton products are good?

I have two computers running on Windows Xp Home. They are both connect to the same router in the same house.

I want to be able to share specified folders and or areas between computers. I don't want to have all files shared only specified folders.

Also I do not know much about networks , ip addresses and so forth but I want both PCs to remain the same so there is no leakage of file history or any privacy of any kind.

So the other person cannot tell what the other person is going in any way except for shareing whats in the shared folders.

I want it so we can disable the shareing somehow and reinable it without much trouble.

I know quite a bit about computers but I need to be put into the right direction. What type of network am I looking for? Are they already on a network of some sort?

I heard above cross over cables? but then again I read I do not need them and should be ok without them.

So I want to share files with total privacy. Thanks... Any help whould be great.

how do I take data from a sequential access file and pass it into a double array (ex pages(10))? I am looking to populate the array via a text file arranged as thus:

bze, 13.95
mce, 15.00
dde, 9.95
ffd, 1.36
and so on for a total of ten rows!
