Norton products are good BUT they do require alot of resources to work, if you have a old computer it will slow it down, alot of memory is needed at least 1 gb, between Norton anti virus, Windows XP Pro, you lose 600 mb without doing anything, those programs run in the background and use resources. My nieces download all that music and got viruses all the time UNTIL norton systemworks And internet security have been installed. The stuff works great but it does consume alot of computing power.

No. Norton is terrible. It eats up system resources like crazy, it's virus definitions leave a lot to be desired, and it pretty much all-around sucks.

Norton is good at a minimal price of slow performance

Well - they become realy heavy as system reqs , and usablenes.
Even worse - they are not stable as well.
Some time they have a problems with other software prducts under the system ...

Well - used them in 96-99 period
and i wont use them before changed their politics of creating such heavy products.

Yes, a little slower, but at least they work. I had McAfee and it acted like a virus...

I also have zonealarm for interne security and it is very good.
