After uninstalling the software, I tried listing the files in the Windows/System directory by time and check for those files which had a time stamp of the software installation date and time then delete them. Then reinstall the trial version. It worked a couple of time and then screwed up. The search for files having the same time stamp as the installation time should be extended to the whole disk.
