Don't give me a definition. I want to know who has installed a FLAC converter? Here is my other question. What one is the best free one? And Is this even what I need?

I have FLAC files that I would like to listen to on a cd. What do I need to do? I kind of asked a similar question last night but only had a couple of answers. Only one decent one. When I go to the flac.sourceforge page I don't know which one to get. I can add detaiils about my pc if you need them, But I am seriously at my witts end with this crap. Help me please. Thank You. Please feel free to contact me through answers too. I will respond promptly. Also can I do this with Limewire?

My new laptop, an HP Pavilion dv1000 has wireless internet capabilities. The guy at the store told me there would be everything I needed to set that up. But apparently not because after we spend all this money I find out we have to have a wireless router to hook up to the DSL Box. The cheapest I can find one for is 40.00... Does anyone think this is a good price, or are there better deals?

who knows how to allow an item or program so that it will not be detected by aol spyware protection? like limewire, it is always detected by the spyware program and keeps getting blocked every time spyware protection scans and then messes everything up. i tried aol support but i was number 164 in que and the estimated wait time was 45 min. i just came on here to see if anyone knew how to do it.

I need a Disk Partition Manager to join two partitions together without damaging any of the data within one of them as it is my boot partition and I don't want to reinstall.

I have checked Downloads.com but all I find are demos that don't actually apply any changes to the partitions unless you buy them.

Can anyone advise please?

Allright I just bought a laptop from Circuit City. It's an HP Pavilion dv 1000 Notebook. Pretty new, it came right off the shelf. One problem I'm seeing is that I charged the brand new battery and the little lightning bolt charge light went off, so I assumed it was finished charging. And when I loaded it up and checked the battery icon in the system tray, it was at 96% which was good enough for me. But I used it for probably a total of 15 minutes and the battery was around 80% already. Is that normal for laptop batteries or did I not charge it properly?

I have searched for this information through conventional search engines, and failed. The Univac CP-642B was a military computer; it was also known as the Univac 1206B. It was originally designed in the 1950s, but was used at least through the 1970s when I worked with it in the Navy.
