Try this:

Open your web browser and click on the Tools menu.
Choose Internet Options.
Set your history for number of days you want to keep items.
Click OK.

Then go to the View menu and choose the Explorer Bar.
Click off History.

Hope that helps!

On PCs (Windows):

Click TOOL
Choose INTERNET OPTIONS
(Choose GENERAL Tab)
under HISTORY - click CLEAR HISTORY

On Yahoo Toolbar:
Click on drop-down arrow in search box
Click CLEAR

On other search boxes:
Try Right-Clicking on the Search Box itself and see if a menu comes up. If a CLEAR selection is available, click it. Otherwise, mouse down to each listed item and hit DELETE on your keyboard.

Go into "documents and settings", then into your login folder...delete all the files in the cookies folder and the temp folder as well as the history folder.

Also, go into "Customize taskbar and start menu properties" just and clear your recent documents...it also clear your recenly accessed websites.
