I have a compaq presario sr1830nx here is some features
3500+ AMD athlon 64 processor
1.0 GB memory
200GB hard drive
DVD+RW lightscribe double layer 16x drive
i cannot figure out how to burn a dvd. and i cant call support cuz they'll make me pay out the bum. if anyone knows plz help. thx so much.

I made a bootable ms-dos floppy and I want to boot to dos. I've completed the boot part because the screen shows A:\>
,but I am trying to get c:\ started so I can start executing task on my hard drive. I tryed and tryed, but I cant seem to get it to start on c:\

I have the CD, I have also downloaded the driver from the Bushnell web site. I have Windows XP. This is really frustrating - I have set up these binoculars to link to my PC but all it allows me to do is do streaming video. Fun, but I have taken photos that for the life of me I can't download. Bushnell was no help (they don't answer). Anybody else here have these binoculars and have figured it out?

I have deleted cookies, removed all programs I don't use, did disc cleanup and defragment, but it still constantly pops up "low disc space". What else can I do short of buying new computer with more memory?

Now this is just an honest question, and I'll provide an example as well. Is there any use in tracing an IP address? Say a hacker hacks someone, software such as the new mcfee security software will allow you to "trace" the IP address to a particular region of the world.

I'm not quite sure I understanding the reasoning of this, since IP address are of course not the physical addresses of the machine on the network (the MAC address), and both can actually be spoofed with directions you can download from the Internet As well as hackers can hijack machines, and let the hijacked machines do their dirty work for them, so the IP address you would be tracing to, would be just a "zombie" machine, and not the hackers machine.

So what exactly is the point of IP address tracing (over the Internet)?

And no I seriously don't mean on a local network to find out if your connected to the right phsyical port.
