Why won't my Norton Password Manager work with instant messengers? Is there anything I can do about it?

My Norton Password Manager works great with anything else, but for some reason it won't work with any instant messenger. I'm pretty sure it used to, but they (MSN, Yahoo, AIM, etc.) must've changed something.

If you read the manual you will see it does not work with messenger systems. (that is any previous than 2006 cause i have not exhausted by 2005 subscription.)

s.. u just install avg free antivirus which dects all the messenger password viruses..

I think they fiddled with it, mine won't work with either My Yahoo or Yahoo Answers.
