okay i have tryd every suggestion and non seems to work, seems like my best chance is the safe mode option, but the million dollar ques. is how do i get there? seems like a plan though, if you could just tell me how to get there........thanks guys!

I can however get into my yahoo account via yahoo messenger, and I can also login to Myspace without any problems.

However I can't get into my account at university of phoenix or any of my finiancial institution sites. I also for some reason can not download windows service pack 2.

I tried enabling active X and restoring defaults to the security and advanced settings in internet options. Both changes did nothing to resolve the situation! Please help!!!

everytime i open that folder that has the file, my computer gets so slow, I can't get anything running outta thta folder. I can use my compter normally if i try doing anything else, But only when i try using any file from that folder it get's hung. I can see that red light of the external hard drive goin off shortly then goes back to red .. U know how it blinks when its working just like th copmuter processor, but whenever i open that folder it gets red.. hardly blinks green.... i can't even savely remove the drive?

One of my computers has a CD drive that will not work the way it should... I beleive it is a new 52x cd drive and it doesn't have any writing capabilities... I recently installed XP on my computer and when I did that... the drive wa working fine... But now for some reason... It won't read... The computer recognizes it's there but is not receiving any information that there is a disk in the drive... Please DO NOT RESPOND WITH ANYTHING THAT SAYS OR REALTES TO 'check the cables or connections or is everything hooked up right or the right drivers' or some crap like that... Yes i've checked the wires and the cables and the connections... I just would like to hear some reasons that might be the cause of this...
