you can download spybot search and destroy: http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html

run that, and it doesnt get rid of your file, then go to tools in the spybot program, and set the options to advance.

then go down to the lower left hand of the program where it says tools.. double click the on option for the shredder.

when your in the shredder section, right click on the blank screen, open file, find the file thats giving you trouble, and click ok. then click the button to shred it. it will be permenantly removed from your computer.

hope this helps :)

Can you create a new folder and move everything except the .avi file to it, then drag the .avi file to the recycle bin?
Another way: copy everything except the.avi file to a CD or your puter hard drive and format the external drive.
RUN A VIRUS SCAN ON THE EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE.

go to start-accessories-system tools- system restore. click on system restore. click on (change computer to earlier times). if u remember the date when it was installed then u select one day before that date. and u r computer will be allright. but this will remove all the data that have stored after installing that file.

GOOD LUCK. BYE
