whats the difference between regular turbos and ball bearings? and how about superchargers?? i've looked at many, and i know that like 20G = 500 hp or w/e, and 16G = 200hp on the standard turbos, i think thats right?? probably without subtracting the loss from the weight of the car and other factors.

But what i came here to ask is what makes ball bearings special? and are they more powerful?? and by how much??

Also Superchargers, are they more powerful then turbos??

I'm planning to buy a new car next year, and i really want to buy an electric car to be environemntally friendly. Are there any other types of environmentally friendly types of cars out there besides electric ones? Also, i don't want a big car. I want it to look nice too. A hatchback preferably,... Any suggestions? Thanks in advance...

Being for the UK, I've watched 'Pimp My Ride' a few times, and I was just wondering does America have the equivelent of a UK MOT - were the car is checked over to see if it's road-worthy, and if it fails the car is off the road and you can't get tax etc. - It's just coz I see the state some of those cars/wrecks are in on that program..... (I know that are in all probability they are fakes for the show). But now I'm curious!?!

Thanks for all answers.

Can a police officer in his squad car pull over another police officer in another squad who is speeding?? Just speeding not chasing after someone.
Sorry, one more question....and if the speed limit is 65mph lol, and the police officer is driving 55, why on earth do so many people get scared and drive with him, I mean behind him or next to him. (I know it's respect to the cop but still..) I just drive by everyone at 65mph while they stare at me with that "oh no" look, pass them and go my way. The cop never does anything, I mean why should he I'm not breaking the law.

I was pulled over for speeding last night, but was not given a ticket. It was my first time ever being pulled over and I was not sure what was supposed to happen. The police officer was very nice and took my license but did not give me a ticket. He never said it was a warning or if I was getting a ticket or what. Do they mail you a ticket or was I lucky and just got off with a warning. I was thinking maybe I was lucky since I have had a perfect driving record until now and am over 18. I live in Ohio, but I have had trouble finding information on this topic for my state. Thanks!

I recently bought a car from a second hand car dealer with one years warranty left from the main dealer (Renault). The car developed some electrical faults which is covered under warranty. After the main dealer looked at the car they admitted that they'd seen the car before with the same problems. The car has since been fixed apart from one fault which they're not sure they can fix.
What I need to know is, if the fault can not be fixed what rights do I have ie, money back, exchange with other vehicle etc.
