Once we eliminate the idiot, Anti Connor Group, trying to spam. Most people tell you the truth. You can drain the tank, or keep refilling with the correct fuel. My Uncle had this happen as the Fuel Station had Diesel in the wrong tank. Very messed up, but, the station did pay for the problem as many filled up with Diesel because of someones mistake. Myself, I guess I keep topping off the tank often until it clear up

If you fill up with diesel, your car won't start. You will have to drain the fuel system. Diesel doesn't usually harm the fuel pump. You will need to replace the fuel filter. You will possible have to clean or replace the spark plugs. The diesel will foul them out. It won't normally damage the engine.

It smokes really bad depending on how much gas is left in the tank when you fill up. If there is not enough gas in the mixture to burn in the cumbustion cylce it wont run at all.

BACK IN THE OLD DAYS WHEN THE MONTH END WAS NEAR, NOT ENOUGH PETROL, I USED TO REMOVE ABOUT 5 LITERS OF DIESEL FROM MY OLD MANS TRUCK AND POUR IT INTO MY CARS TANK, IT WORKED OK, A BIT SMOKEY AND UNDERPOWERED, BUT MIXED HALF PETROL DIESEL, IT GOT ME TO THE END OF THE MONTH AND PAY DAY.
