I got a speeding ticket back in June and have not paid it yet. I lost the ticket so do not have access to paying it online or through the phone. I have not gotten any court summons or anything in the mail from motor vehicles and want to know if there is a website or number to call in NJ to see if my license is suspended, if I have warrants or anything like that???

Ok, Subaru is Japanese. The engine, transmission, and interior are all manufactured in Japan. It is imported to the US where it is assembled. So basicaly it is a Japanese car. But Toyota and Honda's and Nissan are made here in the US, including the engine and transmission. Then why do people think that Honda, Toyota, and Nissan are reliable and better cars, if they are made here?

US gas prices seem to have been considerably lower than European prices for many years. Should we expect that condition to be more or less permanent? Or is there some reason that, within the foreseeable future, US & European gas prices may approach each other?

I bet you have seen a lot of these officers on the motorways now. There the ones with the orange flashing lights and yellow/black chequed paintwork.
They seem to be replacing traffic cops nowdays. I imagine its a lot cheaper to pay one of these guys instead of a copper.

Are they there just to get crashed cars off the carriageway/put out cones/direct traffic etc. Or do they have the power to give stop vehicles/issue speeding tickets etc?

Whenever I see 4X4's they are driven by either small, insecure men or women with children (taking them to schools). Unless you live in muddy/hazardous conditions why do you need them? The arguement of the room for children is rubbish as I have a normal sized car and can fit four/five people in comfortably. They are completely road unfriendly (can't see round them, lights shine through your cars).

What makes me laugh most though is the cheap 4X4's. Kia's etc. Made of plastic, slow and cheap and nasty. If you're going to get one then afford a proper one.

Why choose a Range Rover (etc) when you can have a BMW, Merc, Jag etc etc????

What are the most annoying things other drivers do, legal or illegal? Here are a few to start:
Driving with fog lights on, in clear weather, even daylight.
Driving with fog lights on and headlights on, especially in fog.
So called personal number plates, especially those like the "X5" on a BMW X5, or "JAG" on a Jaguar.
People who put their hazard lights on when they park on double yellow lines.
Tail-gaters.
Motorway drivers who stay in the middle or outside lane when the other lanes are clear.
Worst of all, drivers who insist on taking up 2 parking spaces, simply because they are too lazy to park properly.
Not always logical, but hey, I'm only human!!
