Im In England, and have been fined by Hart Council. I did however have a valid ticket, but i had left the car window open as it was too hot and the ticket had blown over on to the reverse side.

any chance of getting it over turned, or am i best off paying it early and getting only a 30 quid fine?

They make people wear seatbelts in vehicles, but what about motorcycles. I think you are safer in a vehicle without a seatbelt than on a motorcycle period. Don't you think this is very stupid?

Why do you often go past a passing place instead of pulling in to let the trail of car drivers go past you. What is the law concerning holding up traffic. Gold stars to the ones who do pull over tho.

I got this idea from another question. I drive using only one foot, and most people I know do. But my father has always driven (automatic) cars with both feet, one for the break, one for the gas.

People say you are "supposed to" drive with only one foot though. And that is the way you learn and have to drive to pass your test. Why is this?

OK will £12,000 buy me a decent 911 turbo (the 3.3 930 model from the 1980's)...that's £12k just for the car itself, UK prices.

Or, as a new member of the Porsche fraternity, am I better off starting with a standard SC from the same era?

How different, realistically, are the two cars?

Thanks!

I'm interested in saving at the Pump., If I drive slow I spend more time on the roade which means I burn more Gas. So if I drive faster I spend lest time on the road, but burn more gas for a shorter amount of time. Then the slower I go I burn less Gas but for a longer amount of time. So now which is it that I would be saving Gas or Time?

Do police officers have to make themselves visible to raod users when completing speed checks. Even if the car is marked or unmarked. And if requested do they have to produce there calibiration certificate.
