Careful here big roam,

The problem is not who will train me, but who will hire me. No need to invest the time and money getting the training if you don't have a job to hang your hat on after the training.

I encourage you to look at the big picture. Unfortunately, the insurance companies dictate who the trucking companies hire. Larger companies are self insured, covering the first million or so in case of a claim. But in this law suite happy society we live, can you imagine if a company hires someone with a questionable MVR and they cause an accident resulting a loss of life? Talk about responsibility due to neglect. These companies just cannot/will not take the risk.

Advise...expand your search to include smaller dump truck operations. Once you have a job with your CDL and maintain a clean MVR, it is a smaller leap to get in a big truck.

Good Luck!

Ya he is right...any school will take your money to train you. The problem comes when you go to get hired. There are several shady trucking companies that would hire people in your situation but they are notorious for running you ragged and paying you like crap. Go big or don't go at all. Falsifying logs is no joke and you could lose your CDL for ever.
