The ethanol is very corrosive and will first clean up any dirt or varnish in the fuel system and plug your filters. As time passes, it will destroy any rubber parts it comes in contact with. Hoses, fuel pump diaphragm, accelerator pump, etc. You will also lose 20%-30% of your mileage so you will be filling up more. Since there is no computer, you may have to tune the engine to run well on it. Adjust carb, timing, plug gap, etc. A 10% mix used where I live doesn't seem to hurt anything. I drive a 77 Chevy and have used this for years. If your gas is not a mixture now, you could add 1-2 gallons of ethanol to each fill up.
