Downshift a gear if you're already in motion; stay on the brake kinda soft when putting it in gear from a stop. No real tricks, just a bit of practice, and you'll kind of get a feel of everythig on your own without knowing.

Stay in first gear, and use your handbrake to stop and start. If you have a clear run uphill make sure you stay in second gear at the very least, otherwise your won't have the power to make it uphill.

If you're already going, just down shift.

Otherwise, you ahve to learn just how to push the gas down and let the clutch up at the right degrees..... its easy to either stall out or roll backward.... dont have any fancy tricks. :-(. Practice on small hills and get used to it and then do the big ones.

slowly let off the clutch until you feel it grab a little then let off the brake and slowly press the gas as you finish letting off the clutch this eliminates rolling back and or killing the car

I do it in an 80,000-pound truck. It's easy-- it just takes practice.
