I have the above car and upon starting the engine it makes a dry, whirring noise, like tappets clicking. It's a new model and it only happens occasionally, for about five seconds, any ideas? Or does anyone have this problem too?

Does anyone know how i can get started painting the lip of my 1999 honda civic, as in, what do i need to do. I bought the lip painted in black already how can i start to make it to match the silver paint on my civic. and also where can i get paint that matches the silver on my civic and also the color number code would be helpful also. i'm not looking for a text book restoration. i want to take this beautiful classic car and modernize it. update the ammenities and technology while keeping the integrity of the design.

i want to give it a new effecient engine and transmission and also incorporate a digital interface to monitor liquid pressures, temperatures, levels, diagnostics and also estimates of EPA, fuel consumption, SatNav, CC etc [just normal everyday luxuries on our cars].

So does anyone know of any good information sources or businesses with experience in this kind of restoration?

Back in the day I learnt how to drive a stick shift car (in the UK) but now I'm in the US and I've gotten lazy and drive an automatic. I'm really interested in buying a classic mini - how difficult are they to drive stick?

Please take into consideration that I live in LA and the traffic is HORRENDOUS!!! I really don't want one calf muscle bigger than the other! :)

Im currently driving a 2000 ford explorer with over 110000 miles on it. I was looking to trade it in for something with better gas mileage and hopfully around half the miles. I found a 2002 Kia Rio with 57000 miles. I was wondering your experience with Kias...I have never known anyone to own one and so I need some advice. Thank you

this question is basically for people in australia with holden commodores. i have a vz ss and i want to get a hot dog muffler not to quieten the car but to make it louder and sound like a tank you not what i mean, i need to know where to get one that makes it louder and how much they cost. also are they hard to install and uninstall because for sure ill get pulled over by the EPA or something. thanks in advance,,,,
