By design, the Donkervoort D8 GT. By driving performance, the Mazda Miata. I've never driven the D8, but the Miata is a blast to drive!!

1953 Corvette first sports car i know of. Is it fun to drive? No, they were slower and handle worse than most cheap sedans and coupes today. But for there time, yes.
